Basic Printer Eats Pieces Of Bit For Breakfast

by Chris Pizzolo

Basic Printer is the solo synth-pop project of Nashville’s Jesse Gillenwalters. It is also the latest release from Utica based record label Newlywed Records. Featuring pleasant wave synthesizers and pulsating vocal and keyboard stabs, “Child Grows” is a delight to listen to. Reminiscent of artists like Discovery, and Bad Cello, Basic Printer’s vocal melodies are comforting and oozing with impressionable beats that will make you bop along. This song is like adrenaline for stoners, and is a must-listen.

Basic Printer’s self-titled EP is due out February 17th through Newlywed Records. Basic Printer will also be on tour in support of the new release this spring.
