Hopefully, you guys have heard this track already. If you haven’t, then I’m psyched to tell ya about the story behind what is easily one of the coolest collaborations to recently come out of the ever-changing music industry.
So here’s how it goes: Jeremih, a once mainstream R&B singer, releases this track entitled “Fuck You All The Time” in 2012. Then Shlohmo, a bedroom producer from Ohio or Michigan or someplace in the middle of America, remixes the track and blows it up beyond its initial success. Not only that, it goes way beyond Jeremih’s traditional reach as an R&B singer and into the more indie hip-hop scene. The timing couldn’t be more perfect for these dudes with hip-hop and EDM cross-pollinating into the masses these days. Oh, and as if this one-off collaboration wasn’t perfect enough, their world tour resulted in a new EP called No More that is equally as perfect. Give it a listen.
