Play Too Much: Hey Lydia, tell me a little bit about the song; writing process, inspiration, etc?

Lydia: I wrote this song when I was at my breaking point. I was so sick of feeling insecure and being surrounded by people with so much low self esteem.

PTM: Why did you choose this song to make a video for?

Lydia: Because I think it’s a really great representation of who we are as a band and it opens up a conversation about the things so many people feel but are too scared to talk about.

PTM: Where was this video filmed?

Lydia: It was filmed in a giant green room. There were only 5 or 6 people there because I didn’t want Alithea (the star of the video) to feel uncomfortable and have too many eyes on her.

PTM: How did you come up with the video concept?

Lydia: I don’t even know. It just sorta came to me haha.

PTM: Who do you want to shout out for helping make this video possible?

Lydia: Yes! Thank you so much to Devin Sarno for suggesting Steven Marten for the job. Steven is such a badass director. And thank you Alithea Tuttle for being a wonderful doll!
