Despite having only one song to their name, LA based shoegazers Lo Moon rocketed through 30 minutes of brooding, cavernous music, rich with synths and reverberant guitars. They closed their set with the patient and powerful 7 minute epic “Loveless”, which has left listeners wanting more since its release late last year.
Hot off their latest (and well received) record, Volcano, Temples ripped through songs old and new for over an hour, including extended versions (not without blistering guitar solos) of “Sun Structures” and “A Question Isn’t Answered”. For those that missed out, don’t worry: Temples and Lo Moon are back at the Music Hall of Williamsburg tomorrow, May 18th.
