Bad Decisions king of the youth2020 is closing strong with the release of Bad Decisions’ new EP, King Of The Youth. This electro-pop duo- in collaboration with Bite This!– are bringing the club vibes with the three-track record. With both members, Cameron Breen and Andrew Ghisoni, coming from musical backgrounds, King Of The Youth is bursting with energy and catchy vocal lines.

The lead single on the record, “Run,” offers up a glitchy, electro-pop vibe that would serve as the perfect background for the Aussie duo’s new video game, L4U. The track may start out slow, but it quickly builds into a mid-tempo jam. The pumping bass line and glitch effects bring an electric energy to the track that makes it the perfect opener for the EP. It’s an incredibly dynamic track that takes the listener through a scintillating audio landscape.

The title track “King Of The Youth” is a sultry duet featuring ARIIA. The piano-driven, new-age pop ballad is sure to make everyone’s bedroom playlist. The song is undeniably catchy, due to Andrew’s master melody making skills and the palpable chemistry that brings it to life. ARIIA’s sensual alto melody is a stand-out. Her voice is dreamy, yet powerful, meshing perfectly with Cameron’s honey-soaked vocals. The energy and passion between the two vocalists brings a whole new level to this already incredible track.

Finishing off the album is “Dangerous Woman,” a melancholy track for all the hopeless romantics. The driving, choppy beats bring a tense energy to this otherwise minimal track. It’s another mid-tempo track with slightly more emotional undertones, but its more vulnerable lyrics round out the record nicely.

King Of The Youth is a great release from Bad Decisions. They’ve created an electric backing for L4U while simultaneously giving listeners an exciting new-age pop record. Both the game and this EP are giving us more and more ways to immerse ourselves in the world of Bad Decisions.
