Alt-rockers, Alien Ant Farm is fresh off the release of their Wham! cover of “Everything She Wants” and their recent signing to Megaforce Records – now these 90s icons are embarking on a new way in performing for their fans. This Saturday [July 11] live from the legendary Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles, Alien Ant Farm will be performing via Live Stream to fans all around the world! This unique audience-free experience is brought to you by Revolver and Inked and tickets are currently on sale for the low price of $10.

Since their start in 1996, the band has topped the charts with some of the most memorable songs of our youth – including “Movies,” “These Days,” and of course, Michael Jackson’s, “Smooth Criminal”. But Alien Ant Farm is so much more than just a band that puts out viral covers – AAF is currently working on their sixth studio album and will be releasing new original music this year.

As the world of live music has come to a screeching halt in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic – artists have been forced to become more creative in connecting with fans, while also being that beacon of hope for the future in music. “We live in this wait-and-watch world at the moment,” says guitarist Terry Corso about the upcoming performance. “So I think this online performance at the world-famous Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood is going to be an experiment in what could be the new norm. Everyone is having to get creative and outside the box as far as facilitating material to fans. I think this is a pretty intriguing situation, and I’m excited at the notion of playing one show that people all over the planet can participate in.”

So what is next for these nostalgic rockstars? Corso explains, “Next for the band is working with our new label partner Megaforce Records to get this new record out ASAP! Getting back on the road would be great. Maybe even keep developing our drink line with Packinghouse Brewing Co. We’ve been trying to write music during the lockdown. Suddenly, everything now is about the video, so there’s a lot of that going on… front yard golfing, home projects, keeping loved ones safe and trying not to go crazier than we already are, etc.” Bet you did not know all that about these Smooth Criminals – Alien Ant Farm is easily one of the most underrated groups to come out of the 90s. But hopefully, after this Saturday’s quarANTine’d performance, fans and critics alike will truly see the musical genius that is Alien Ant Farm.
