Words By: Jordyn Kieft

Rising independent alt-pop act The Ghost Club will be performing their first live show ever at Thunderbird Café & Music Hall in Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Their only performance of the year, The Ghost Club will be the debut headliner at this live show featuring Let Down and Kahone ConceptThe Ghost Club live show will see vocalist Dunegan backed by his full band: Zack Leva on guitar, Stephen Kraus on drums, and Logan Casper on bass.

The musical brainchild of singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Domenic Dunegan, The Ghost Club delivers anthems that are as infectious as they are intriguing—just the kind of enigma alternative music needs. Dunegan first recognized the power of music in 2016 when his dad took him to a Bruce Springsteen concert. Dunegan spent two years writing and recording songs, playing everything but drums. Dunegan started writing on guitar by posing a question, “What would ‘Dancing in the Dark’ sound like if it was written today?”

The Ghost Club debuted in 2018 with “This Bird Has Flown,” produced by multi-platinum producer Matt Squire [Panic! At The Disco, Ariana Grande] after Dunegan spent two years writing and recording songs. The Ghost Club conjoins dusky analog synths, arena-ready guitars, and energetic vocals in a pastiche of eras and styles spawned by the eighties and forged in the twenty-twenties. Since their debut, The Ghost Club has amassed over 10 million total streams with hits such as “Antique” and “Same Graves.” They have also received praise from the media, including HITS Daily Double, New Noise Magazine, Hollywood Life, and Beyond The Stage Magazine. Throughout 2020 and 2021, Dunegan teamed up with Palmquist to create this new chapter of The Ghost Club’s story.

Their most recent single “I Feel Fine,” which was released on Friday, October 29, 2021, rides a funky bass groove to keyboard-lifted dancefloor ecstasy, with lyrics that cut deep. The track was produced by Eric Palmquist [Bad Suns, Thrice, MUTEMATH]. You will definitely be able to identify the inspiration Dunegan gets from Bruce Springsteen as you find yourself simultaneously bopping along to the beat and reflecting on the brutally honest lyrics.

Catch this infectious new single, along with The Ghost Club’s other smashing hits, at their upcoming live show by purchasing tickets using the link below. Doors to the live show will open at 7:00 PM with the show starting at 8:00 PM.
