Underøath Erase Me livestream

Legendary hardcore act, Underøath are gearing to perform LIVE – that’s right, the boys are sick of waiting for venues to open up, so they are bringing fans a very special round of Live Stream shows. Underøath had been racking their brains to try and figure out a way to play together again while also keeping it a safe environment for themselves and fans – “We’ve been figuring out how we could do this for awhile now and are extremely pumped to be able to announce Observatory. We’re playing live again and DANG does that sound good right about now. We’re doing live streamed, full album play-through shows of Lost In The Sound of Separation, Define the Great Line AND They’re Only Chasing Safety.”

For 3 weeks Underøath will be going live together to perform 3 albums from the midst of their discography –  with each album being dedicated its own week. First up is Lost In The Sounds Of SeparationUnderøath’s sixth studio release that turns 12 this year. Last year frontman, Spencer Chamberlain and drummer/singer Aaron Gillespie got together with Alternative Press and spoke about some of their favorite tracks off the album – Spencer starting off with, I thought [‘A Fault Line, a Fault of Mine’] should have been the single off that record and that’s probably my favorite track off that record.” Aaron interjects with, “Here’s the problem with this kinda thing, bands always think that different songs than labels pick should be the single – labels pick singles…99.999% of the time so that’s my disclaimer. [My top pick] from that record would be ‘Coming Down Is Calming Down’….both those songs had like a big chorus they never um… They were just cool, they had cool moments. In my opinion cooler than ‘Desperate Times [Desperate Measures]’ but you know, whatever”, finishes Spencer. “That was a really odd single choice now that I think about it,” agrees Aaron.

The first Live Stream event takes place THIS Friday, July 17 at 8pm ET/5pm PT with the low admission of only $15. For those die-hard fans though, Underøath is offering some incredible bundles that include exclusive merch, as well as access to all 3 live streams. But wait there’s MORE…Underøath listens when their fans speak – “ALSO, we’ve heard you and we’re finally doing it; Each of those albums are having a vinyl repress. This is special to us. We can’t have you all in the same room with us, but we’re working to have it be as interactive as possible.”

Tickets and bundles can be found in the link below but in the meantime, travel back to 2008 during the peak of the Emo Movement with Lost In The Sounds Of Separation. Relearn all the words before Friday night’s huge streaming event!
