Metalcore band We Came As Romans have announced they will be holding a livestream for the anniversary of their album To Plant A Seed. The performance, which will see the band playing the album in its entirety, will be on Friday, April 23, at 9 p.m. ET.

The announcement comes after the band had planned to hit the road in 2020 to commemorate the album, but the tour — along with the rest of the world — was shut down due to the ongoing pandemic. Tickets to the livestream are $18.50, but there’s a plethora of bundles to choose from as well that include meet and greets and exclusive merch. There’s also an exclusive vinyl box set, ticket included, that contain each of the band’s five albums. There’s only 1,000 copies, so get one before they run out.

Of the livestream, frontman Dave Stevens shares: “We’re so stoked to announce this livestream for our To Plant A Seed 10-year anniversary tour/set. While we were in the middle of this tour last year, we had to unexpectedly pack up and go home due to COVID-19, which left us, and a lot of fans, disappointed that we couldn’t be performing this set. The best way we could think of to bring these songs to our fans was through a livestream. Along with the stream, we’re releasing very limited edition merch, designed by our own Andy Glass, just like we did on the tour. Our hope is to bring this set to life  — wherever you can watch it to help us all continue to get through tough times.”

This piece of news isn’t the only exciting thing the band has had in store as of late. Last year, the band released a video for their song “From The First Note.” That, along with “Carry the Weight,” have been the first projects from the band since clean vocalist Kyle Pavone passed in 2018.

The band started in 2005 while the members at the time were in high school. Though they’ve grown over the years, they’ve never lost sight of their end goal: to make music that’s memorable and cutting edge. There’s more in the works for the band, so right after you buy your ticket for the livestream, be sure to look for more updates from We Came As Romans — because you won’t want to miss a thing.
