The only late night experience that gives you your classic emo music fix

Five years ago Babs Szabo, T.J. Petracca and Morgan Freed were looking for a new way to enjoy all the music they loved, so they invited their friends to a dive bar in Silverlake to hang out and jam to their favorite tunes of the scene. Half a decade later Emo Nite LA has become an iconic part within the very scene these three friends love and admire so much.

This Saturday, 11/23, Emo Nite LA is taking over the East Coast – bringing their favorite Emo tracks and special DJ guests to the iconic Webster Hall. While over the years Emo Nite’s have popped up across the country – including Emo Nite Brooklyn, Emo Nite CT and Emo Nite TX – there’s nothing quite like the original. With rapper/actor Travis Mills having confirmed his attendance via Twitter, you know it’s bound to be a crazy night.

As the years go by, we are constantly reminded of our [sometimes painfully embarrassing] emo days and while most of us have become sophisticated goths or ‘cool, alternative’ parents – there’s nothing that gets a former emo kid hyped quite like the classic tunes from Good Charlotte, Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday and Yellowcard. Emo Nite has created a community within the scene for those of us that miss the old days of Warped Tour, Bamboozle, Hot Topic listening parties. So break out the eye-liner and trip pants, because this Emo Nite is fixing up to be one of the best of 20-9-Scene.

There are still tickets available which can be purchased Here and doors are at 11pm. It’s time to paint NYC black!
