If you asked Shiny Wet Machine what their music sounds like they’d tell you “dripping, loud, heavy, fuckery “.  The New York via LA duo is made up of punk-pop enchantress, Sizzy Rocket, and acclaimed producer/rock virtuoso, Alex Fitts. We had the pleasure to meet the group, joined by drummer Chris Wall, as they were preparing for their first show in NYC at C’mon Everybody. It’s impressive to see a band that is as relentless when practicing as they are on stage.

Shiny Wet Machine puts on a nonstop vivacious rock show from start to finish with an edgy and accessible catalogue of original tracks and their upcoming record parallels that experience. When we asked why the band chose to make such a raw, visceral, punk record Fitts sys “we wanted to do something where we said let’s just put away all of the production and do some super DIY stuff…”. You can truly feel that this is a labor of love and not some pet side project for the band. Sizzy says, “I really feel like myself in this project. Sizzy Rocket fans are going to freak the fuck out.”
