Charlee Remitz Season FriendsCharlee Remitz has made magic again with her latest single “Season Friends”. The acclaimed alt-pop star is best known for her heavy, silky sound that translates into a wave of good vibes you could practically bathe in. “Season Friends” carries this sound to new heights while dealing with the complicated process of coming to terms with wanting to cut negativity out of your life, from fake friends to bad habits. It’s the perfect track to release towards the end of the year as many of us reflect on our lives and try to make positive changes.

The track is sassy yet cool and inspiring. It’s less about confronting the negativity she feels to make drama or arguments and instead is about shedding the dead weight out of her life.  Of the track, Charlee said: “Detaching from things. Re-aligning yourself with purpose. It’s tough to greet significant change with grace. To not shudder under the weight of it and back away. For whatever reason, I became more aware of what and who was serving me in my life. We don’t have infinite time to give people or dish out chances like each one doesn’t sacrifice a little bit of your peace.”  ‘Season Friends’ is one of the most mature songs to be released this year whose message is both healthy and productive for listeners to hear.

Fans of Skylar Grey and Sylvan Esso will fall in love with Charlee’s vocals and the production on “Season Friends”. With it being the perfect song to close out one of the craziest years of our lives, the track helps us reflect on what’s serving us and what isn’t, and reassures listeners that we’re not alone in this struggle. Everybody has toxicity in their lives, and the move to get rid of it is a major theme on Charlee’s upcoming album – Heaven’s A Scary Place, set to be released on December 18th.

The single serves as the second release off her much-anticipated album, following its lead single “The New 1980’s” – a retro throwback to the 80s with a modern twist that has already been featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Playlist. Her breakout project happened to be her sophomore LP, Sad Girl Music, which garnered millions of streams on Spotify and much critical acclaim. As Charlee gears up to release Heaven’s A Scary Place at the end of the year, it’s worth mentioning that this just so happens to be her second project to be released this year alone! Garden kicked off a productive 2020 for this shining star as this completely self-made record garnered praise from Billboard, Refinery29, Alternative Press, and many more. While we anxiously await this new record, fans can bump “Season Friends” now.  Clearly, this won’t be the last we hear from Charlee Remitz.
