Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter J. Hoard joins us Tuesday, July 14 at 2:30 pm ET for a live stream session Play Too Much @ SubCulture hosted by Brad Wagner.

After moving to Brooklyn, J. Hoard has risen in fame as the vocalist of hip hop jam The Lesson. Since 2015, J. Hoard has released reflective music intended to heal though his urban beats and vibrant melodies. This was first achieved with his successful EP entitled Feel Good.

J. Hoard has recently won a Grammy for his songwriting on Chance the Rapper’s hit “No Problem.” In addition, he has co-written three singles with Sonnymoon, collaborated on an album with Meshell Ndegeocello, and is featured on Ryan Connors‘ upcoming single “July 24th“.
