Puerto Rican power trio Los Rivera Destino joins us for our next Live Session, Play Too Much @ SubCulture hosted by Brad Wagner! Catch the performance Tuesday, November 10th at 2:30pm ET on Twitch, Twitter, Facebook Live and YouTube Live!
The group of friends — Carlos Figueroa, Fernando Terrazo and Antonio Sanchez —originally began their career together posting satirical content on their YouTube channel. They gained some notoriety in 2018 with their bolero cover of “Te Boté.” From there, they went on to release “Flor,” a collaboration with reggaeton artist, Bad Bunny. It’s a powerful and heartfelt track dedicated to fathers everywhere.
The group is known for their modern takes on the traditional Spanish boleros. Featuring beautiful harmonies and the trademark Spanish guitar, their songs are a phenomenal tribute to their culture. They’ve recently released a new single entitled “Sin Ti.” The track has been in the works for almost a year now, and they’ve finally released it for their fans. “Sin Ti” features a more upbeat feel than their previous releases, a change the group is very excited about. The release comes as a preview for their debut album, set to drop in 2021.
They have an infectious energy that certainly keeps their fans coming back for more. The chemistry between them radiates from everything they do- and when you pair that with their immeasurable talent, how could you stay away?
