K-Pop icons, BLACKPINK have shattered the YouTube record for the biggest 24-hour music video release of all time with their music video for “How You Like That” – which has since garnered over 86 million views. The mind-boggling video shattered the YouTube record for most views in a 24-hour time span, setting the all-time record for the biggest YouTube premiere with over 1.6 million peak concurrents. The video dropped last Friday via YG Entertainment/Interscope Records, the South Korean super pop-star’s long-awaited latest single debuted at #5 on Spotify’s Global Top 50 and has since peaked at #2. Additionally, “How You Like That” now marks the fastest video in YouTube history to reach 100 million views. 

The track was co-written by R. Tee, 24, Danny Chung, and TEDDY – who also produced the song. “How You Like That” almost instantly shot to the top of the iTunes charts in 64 countries, garnering 7.5 million global streams on Spotify and Apple Music the very first day of its release. In addition to hitting #1 on Spotify in seven markets around the world, the trap-pop anthem reached the top 50 in an astonishing total of 28 markets.
