‘Nevermind’ is the pop masterpiece HRVY has been perfecting throughout his music career
HRVY has unveiled the lead single, “NEVERMIND”, off of his debut album, Can Anybody Hear Me? via Capitol Records. The brand new track showcases HRVY setting the stage in dominating the pop world with the pulsating electro-pop sound he has passionately perfected over the last two years. The new single was co-written with J Hart (Justin Bieber) and Pollack (Lauv), and is a blowout of pitch-shifted vocals that resemble the previously released melancholic single, “ME BECAUSE OF YOU”.
HRVY said, “I wrote this song last summer with J Hart and Pollack, who have written some of my favorite songs of the last few years. I’m so pleased this track turned out how it did and that everyone can finally hear it and see how the new music on the album is going to sound.”
The track begins with HRVY’s acapella, auto-tuned vocals belting “Nevermind, nevermind, nevermind / You were never mine, never mine / What a time, what a time, what a time / You were never mine, never mine,” where the song then gets into more raspy vocals and upbeat synths. A couple beat drops and a snappy hook, HRVY has done it again with gifting the music world with this pop bop.
Can Anybody Hear Me? is set to be released on August 28 and includes the global smash hit “Personal,” which is certified Gold in the US., in addition to his other recent releases, “Unfamiliar” and “Be Okay” (ft. R3HAB). His debut album highlights the several sides of HRVY and his musical interests. With the mournful acoustic ballad “She Isn’t You” reminds listeners of 90s boybands such as *NSYNC, the title track is a sure smash hit that will most definitely be a fan favorite, especially when performed live. “ME BECAUSE OF YOU” displays a musician developing into his own artistry, welcomed by fans who relate to his words as they transition into adulthood.
HRVY’s intentions to create the perfect pop bop are connecting with a huge audience across the globe, with 20,000 tickets already purchased for his upcoming rescheduled world tour which includes shows in the UK, Europe, Australia, and Asia. HRVY is already a global star, at just age 21, having traveled around the world, and nailing collaborations with artists such as K-Pop band, NCT Dream, respected Norwegian DJ and The Vamps collaborator Matoma, Seeb and Goodboys, and Cuban-born Latino sensation, Malú Travejo.
