It’s that time of year where we bring out the bagpipes, pour a glass of Guinness and cheers to a Happy St. Patrick’s Day. What better day to celebrate all the talented Irish Musicians out in the world. Pour yourself some stout, grab a plate of corned beef and cabbage and enjoy this playlist for St. Patrick’s Day 2021! Cheers!

It’s not quite a St. Patty’s Day celebration without the iconic, Irish-America Band Flogging Molly. This 7-piece band formed in Los Angeles back in the late 90’s and is still going strong today. The lead singer/songwriter Dave King had some prior experience in a heavy metal band before switching gears and forming Flogging Molly. The band offers a very distinct Irish-rock sound with some fast-paced tracks. Flogging Molly plans on holding a Live Session from Dublin, Ireland on St. Patty’s Day. Be sure to check it out!

Scottish TikTok singer Nati Dreddd has been enlightening her fans with her angelic vocals and soft guitar playing.The Scottish red head has managed to capture an audience of 31.9 K people using her TikTok platform. She’s also more than capable of hitting those high notes and singing loud and proud. Not only is the singer very talented, but she carries a light sense of humor and happy go lucky attitude when it comes to connecting with her fans through her socials. She has become so popular in the past couple months that she decided to do a Live Stream gig on March 20th. She announced that she will be performing covers, originals and even has a few secret surprises hiding up her sleeve!

Formed in the late 1990’s in Quincy, Massachusetts, Celtic Irish punk band, Dropkick Murphy’s came together. The 4-piece band has had some changes in not only people throughout the years, but sound too. The band has a heavier rock screamo sound, filled with energy and fast rhythm’s. The rockin’ band has announced that they will be dropping their newest album, Turn Up That Dial on April 30th, 2021. They have already released one song, “I Wish You Were Here,” off the album. Similar to the Drop Kick Murphy’s and Flogging Molly is Canadian Celtic-Punk band, The Real McKenzie’s. Back is 1992, the leading member, Paul McKenzie founded the band. The Real McKenzie’s are said to be the initial band to start the Celtic music movement in the 90’s. Through the years, the band has shared the stage with many different bands, one of them being the Flogging Molly’s. Their most recent studio album, ‘Beer and Loathing,’ released in July of 2020, offers the classic Celtic-Punk sound and head-bangin energy.

Irish rapper and singer, Nealo is giving his listeners the softer and chiller side of rap. Back tracking to 2018, Nealo released his very first EP October Year. Following that, he released singles which finally led to the dropping of his debut album, All The Leaves Are Falling, in April of 2020. The album can be best described as soothing. Nealo’s deep voice and slight accent make for a calming sound. Throughout the album, there’s a couple tracks in which Nealo speaks about his life experiences and the stories behind the inspiration for his songs. It’s beautiful. Released on Feb. 26 of 2021, singer Carrie Baxter features Nealo’s catchy rapping on her single, “Without You.”

Bright pop singer and Dublin native, Aimee has been making a name for herself in the pop music industry. Aimee kickstarted her career as a recording artist with the release of her debut single, “Don’t Bother,” in March of 2019. Sassy and playful, the song landed a spot on the Spotify New Music Friday Playlist for UK and Ireland. Aimee’s vocals have been influenced by pop queens Christina Aguilera and Brittany Spears. Her sound is also very similar to pop singer Zara Larsson. Aimee’s November 2020 pop single, “Bulletproof,” can be streamed on Spotify. The singer is also actively engaged with her followers on TikTok.

Best known for his 2019 single, “Outnumbered,” Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy has been leaving his mark in the pop music world. Dermot’s powerful and gritty vocals have earned him much recognition in the past couple years. In 2020 he was nominated for International Male Solo artist of the year at the BRIT Awards. Dermot will be touring in Ireland, United Kingdom as well as the U.S. starting in Aril 2021 through August 2021.
