Bill and Ted are back in a brand new movie, Bill & Ted Face The Music. Directed by Dean Parisot [Galaxy Quest] with a screenplay by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon [Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey] and produced by Scott Kroopf, Alex Lebovici, Ed Solomon, Alex Winter, Steve Ponce, and David Haring – the film is an exciting return to the beloved series.

In the third installment of the series, the stakes are at an all-time high for the time-traveling shenanigans of William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. [Alex Winter] and Theodore “Ted” Logan [Keanu Reeves]. In order to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the once gangly teenage duo, now middle-aged best friends, must embark on an adventure when a visitor from the future comes to warn them that only their song can save the world. With help from their lovely daughters, some historical figures, and a few music legends, the duo reunites to find the song that will set things right.

LA-based independent label 10K Projects released the awesome Bill & Ted Face The Music Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, curated for Orion Pictures and Hammerstone Studios. The soundtrack was executive produced by Elliot Grainge [founder of 10K Projects] the album features all of the killer music from the film from a range of artists. With highlight tracks from artists like Weezer, Cold War Kids, and POORSTACY, to Mastodon and Lamb of God, the soundtrack is diverse in genre and style.

“Beginning Of The End (Wyld Stallyns Edit)” by Weezer brings the nostalgia with that classic Weezer rock sound, a hopeful and simply fitting movie moment of a song. Cold War Kids deliver a whole-hearted and upbeat bop with 80s synth and a cheerful vibe, “Story Of Our Lives.” Mastodon brings the heat with their signature metal sound on “Rufus Lives,” and POORSTACY brings a dark, electropop/rap track to the mix.

Elliot Grainge spoke on the project, saying “I couldn’t be more excited to partner with Orion Pictures on their iconic Bill & Ted film franchise for 10K Projects’ first venture into the soundtrack world. Bill & Ted Face The Music is an ode to music enthusiasts around the world and taps into the Gen Z audience, a generation championed by 10K. We are delighted to have our own innovative acts Alec Wigdahl and POORSTACY featured on the soundtrack, next to some of the greatest rock acts of all time including Weezer, Mastodon and Lamb of God, bringing together artists from across generations to celebrate our shared love of music.”

Jonathan Leahy [music supervisor and soundtrack producer] shared, “This is an ambitious soundtrack, featuring all brand-new songs, from metal to pop to a song that saves the universe. Thanks to Elliot and his team at 10K we were able to assemble a massive amount of talent on this album, including the debut recordings of a band we already know and love, Wyld Stallyns.”

The soundtrack has all the intensity, drama, and humor you’d want in a movie. An excellent compilation, the soundtrack is a well-rounded and exciting creation that will surely drive the movie and enhance every moment the music accompanies.
