TikTokTues: Carneyval Mashes Up The Greats To Produce Betters

Carneyval TikTok Tuesday

TikTok is unlike any app that we’ve ever seen – it’s got dancing, cooking, voiceovers, weird challenges, Dad-o-saur, and of course, it has artists of the musical type. Usually, on TikTok Tuesday we highlight a singer who caught our attention for one reason or another – but this week it was a music producer who made us do a double-take.

Known to the internet as Carneyval – he uses his TikTok to highlight mashups he’s created of tracks produced by the most iconic names in music. From Harry Styles and Imagine Dragons to Post Malone, Twenty One Pilots, and Selena Gomez to even The Office theme song – Carneyval seamlessly blends artists across the genres to create an entirely new entity that no one could have possibly created organically.

Having only created his TikTok back in April, Carneyval has already gathered up over 1.5 Million followers on the platform. Carneyval knew he was onto something when his Post Malone, DJ Khaled, and Bruno Mars mashup garnered over 2 million views in just two days. While the 1-minute clips were enough to draw in and hook his listens, it soon became apparent that he needed to release the full versions of these masterpieces. By May, Carneyval had given in to demands and released his first full mashup featuring Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, and DaBaby on his SoundCloud and it has since pulled in over 155K plays to date.

Over the course of the last 5 months, Carneyval has been producing an average of two mashups a day – gaining hundreds of thousands of followers with each TikTok posted. However, Carneyval is not just a brilliant mash-maker – he’s an innovative music producer who has created original tracks with artists who perform within the pop and hip hop genres. One of his most recent TikTok videos features a mashup using The Weeknd’s Starboy, Twenty One Pilots Stressed Out, DaBaby’s Rockstar, and Carneyval’s original track featuring Jackson Breit, No Rain.

As he continues to share his talents across the platform and educate those who are curious during his TikTok lives, Carneyval has now made a name for himself solidifying his talents and a true genius in the music industry. Even if TikTok does eventually get banned in the U.S. [fingers crossed it doesn’t!], Carneyval has started the building of his empire as a master mix artist and producer.
