TikTok has been exposing us to some of the most incredible talents. From comedic songstresses and music producers to a badass frontwoman and killer bassistTikTok Tuesday highlights those who are apart of the music world in some way and that put a smile on our faces. This week we feature @NoahKGuitar – a guitarist who only views himself as ‘decent’ but has gained immense popularity across the platform because of a mysterious kitchen pole.

Originally created as a music account, fans quickly took notice of a rather large pole that runs in the middle of Noah’s apartment. Now amongst his guitar and ukulele playing, Noah began posting humorous content before settling into his own unique brand of ‘kitchen pole account’. For a better understanding of why there are two giant metal poles running through his apartment, Noah lives on the East Coast in what used to be an old factory mill that was then converted into an apartment once the mills closed down. With that bit of information, fans flocked to his page curious about the functionality of his place – it all works. Yet his musical styles have not been silenced by the pole.

Setting a daily goal for himself, Noah has vowed to post at least one video every day of him playing – even if it’s garbage. Passing the 35-day mark with his ukulele rendition of Pearl Jam’s “Last Kiss” – Noah delivers a fun way to absorb a classic. While he’s not known for his voice, his guitar skills are noteworthy. Perhaps with all this newfound TikTok fame Noah will find himself becoming the touring guitarist for some of his favorite musical acts that he’s highlighted in his videos – some of which include, Tiny Moving Parts, Daniel Caesar, and Green Day. Amongst his playing, Noah exposes his followers to artists he jams to while cooking alongside his trusty kitchen pole – featuring artists like Peter McPoland, Knuckle Puck, Raquel Rodriguez, and of course, Tiny Moving Parts.

In his most recent TikTok video, Noah expressed his gratitude for his 22K [now 23K] follows but notes that he holds this ‘weird guilt’ because he gets to “put out his bad music to [23k] people where there’s so many incredible musicians who put out much better music, often – real music – fully produced, on Spotify, original music to far less than [23K].” Because of this Noah highlights a number of artists by their TikTok handles – @ohsensitive, @brookerooowland, @jasperthetourist, @mollymcphaul, @eisenachhh, @gavinthecloud, and @carsonduncanmusic. While we may have come in during the pole introduction, we stayed for his guitar skills, but we promote him for his humble nature and true talent that keeps shining brighter with each day.
