Spooky Season has officially begun! To celebrate, Along Came a Spider released the official lyric video for the title track off their new album, Your Reckoning, which was released worldwide on September 18. The hard rock song is riddled with pounding drums and dissonant guitars, and several heavy metal passages, along with some killer riffs and smooth vocals. From the mind of Tyler Cobillas, the lyric video takes a dark path, featuring several vintage horror clips – a perfectly appropriate set of visuals as spooky season comes upon us.

A fitting track indeed, as 2020 has become a time of reckoning for all in the wake of not only the pandemic but as well as the freak phenomenons that have folks playing apocalypse bingo. “You take, take, take, from me” chants the chorus, an echo of what Covid-19 took from the band. Having all their shows cancelled [including a main stage slot at Inkarceration Festival], and no opportunity to tour their latest album. Instead, Along Came A Spider decided to share the singles one-by-one. The previous four singles they released have just hit an incredible  500,000 streams on Spotify, a huge milestone the band is proud of.  “A half-million plays a good consolation prize for not being able to hit the road,” says drummer Tony Castillo.

On top of it all, singer Jamie Miller (a Canadian citizen) was impacted by the US border closures, so the band shifted their focus from the heavy gigging ACAS is known for, to releasing all of their songs individually. Thankfully, their hard work and dedication to their craft is enough to get them through. “We have enough content to last another year if need be,” adds keyboardist Joel Sedlak, who’s vocals are featured on this latest track. The Cleveland, Ohio-based act is completed by guitarist Luke Fockler and bassist John Calo.

ACAS is known for their energetic live performance and extreme work ethic, having toured through markets in 30 states and having regionally supported nearly every band in their genre. ACAS has played alongside: Story Of The Year, Andrew W.K., Asking Alexandria, Sevendust, We Came As Romans, Machine Gun Kelly, The Word Alive, Motionless In White, and many more. Their second full-length album, 2014’s Resurgence, sold over 1,000 copies, peaking at #4 on Amazon, #9 on iTunes. Prior to 2020, they were on the road extensively, performing on 7 lengthy tours and making several festival appearances such as: Monster Outbreak, Rockapalooza, The All-Stars Tour, Ohio Metalfest, and more.
