From the family of the late Harry Hains comes the latest release from the musician’s forthcoming posthumous record, A Glitch In Paradise. Set to be released this December on ANTIBOY Records, the album highlights the amazing talent that radiated through Harry in the form of his musical presence as ANTIBOY.

Written and recorded by Harry, “Paradise” hosts the themes of toxic relationships and drug dependency – both of which Harry knew all too well. Having lost his battle with drug addiction this past January, Hains’s family chose to bring light in this dark time in releasing the finished yet unreleased project of ANTIBOY. With the help of Harry’s brother, Sam Hains, the vision brought to fans is one that ANTIBOY would undoubtedly be proud to showcase. In “Paradise”‘s completely immersive music video, it takes fans on a wild journey through a seemingly gorgeous paradise – but with the good comes to bad. A sudden glitch stops fans’ trip through paradise and are welcomed to its other half. Fueled by darkness and bursts of fire – forced now to be pulled through a world caressed in neon lights that show themselves as popular video game graphics. As you reach the exit, you realize it was nothing more than an interactive game – designed to help you escape.

ANTIBOY coos, “I never want to live in my head / Though I know what is not reality / Some fantasies are okay instead” – delivering the clear message of how desperate some become to disassociate from the chaos that lives around them. Similar to that of a video game, destructive escapisms can cost you so much more than just your time. While you focus on exploring this new paradise that’s locked deep inside your head – you lose precious time doing the things that really matter, with those who matter most. As you put more coins in the arcade game, the beeps and dings unleash a calming feeling over you – but when you take a hammer to it, you realize it’s nothing more than just lights and clockwork. These ways of dealing with your personal world hold no real substance, a bandaid to mask a true problem – a paradise living in a glitch.

ClubQuarantine celebrated the release of “Paradise” with ANTIBOY’s Welcome To Paradise Rave, a virtual celebration and safe space for queer creatives to authentically be themselves, featuring Markus Molinari, Brendan Jordan, Gigi Gorgeous, and more.

“Paradise” follows ANTIBOY’s previously released singles, Bang, Bang andGood Enough – both of which feature Harry’s dream of a post futuristic world where labels no longer exist. With all of these tracks brought to life under the brilliance of Sam and @FVCKRENDER’s creative minds – the Hains Family aims to create a lasting legacy of their late young talent. While ANTIBOY can’t be here to promote his evolutionary project himself, there’s simply no one better fit for the job than Harry’s own brother with whom he worked very closely with. More is still to come from this creative project, with a message of love, acceptance and being ok with not being ok, ANTIBOY’s A Glitch In Paradise may just be the record of the year.
