Doja Cat and Vevo unveiled a live video performance of Doja’s song “Say So” from her new album Hot Pink, as part of Vevo’s LIFT program. The program connects today’s artists on the rise to audiences around the world through video content. The artist development program was launched in 2011 and sheds light on the world’s brand new talent. Alumni from the LIFT program include the likes of Billie Eilish, Halsey, Khalid, Jorja Smith, SZA, Julia Michaels, YUNGBLUD, Sam Smith, CNCO, and more.
In the hot pink-infused video, Doja Cat flaunts her dance moves, and smooth, crisp vocals as she struts around a human-sized kitty playhouse. “Say So” caught the attention of TikTok users, and soon became a viral dance song and instant hit. The visuals in this video make the song a true, feminine pop-bop that anyone can dance around their room to.
L.A. born and raised, Doja Cat made her first upload to Soundcloud in 2013 at just 16-years-old. She developed a gift for music by studying piano and dance as a kid and taught herself Logic and how to compose on a midi controller. Doja signed to RCA in 2014, she unveiled her acclaimed Purrr! EP. Its lead single “So High” impressively racked up over 30 million cumulative streams and garnered praise from tastemakers such as Fader, Vibe, Paper, Pigeons & Planes, and more.
