Imposter syndrome Happy.Happy. has released their latest single and accompanying music video, A Cure For Wellness. The song becomes their latest single off their upcoming album, Imposter Syndrome, which is due October 30th. The pop-punk track has bright sound and emotive lyrics – with a warm chorus and such a personal message, the track showcases the talent that Happy. possesses and all the potential for their future projects. Cloaked in red light and smoke, the video follows the band as they sing soul-stirring lyrics, So love or leave / These are my two choices / A whisper war to drown out all the noises.

This song focuses on the story of someone very close to me that I love very much struggling with addiction,” frontman Tate Logan shares. It describes the anger, frustration and resentment that I felt in the beginning and was an outlet for me surrounding the lies and manipulations that occurred during the darkest moments of the addiction. However, now my loved one is clean and has been for a while. They have completely regained control of their life and I couldn’t be happier.

The band began playing together in Columbia, SC back in 2016. Their style encompasses elements of pop-punk, rock, and emotive music to deliver a melodic and catchy sound, that’s both fresh and nostalgic at the same time. They first put out a 4-song EP, The Endless Bummer, and then went to work exploring their sound and developing their style. The goal was to create music that radiated positivity, personal growth, and self-defined happiness. After continuing to write new songs and finding their perfect sound, they debuted their first full-length album, Cult Classic, in 2018. With a fun sound and vulnerable lyrics, the album was reminiscent of the kind soundtracks it was titled to honor. The album, produced by Cartel’s Will Pugh, received wide acclaim from fans.

A Cure For Wellness is the second single off of their forthcoming album, following Sick is the New Sane. The album is a narrative of the band’s experiences with their own Imposter Syndrome, and was produced by Marc McClusky [Weezer, Motion City Soundtrack, The Front Bottoms]. Speaking on the meaning of the album, the band explains, From the lows of depression, anxiety, and addiction, to the highs of traveling, making friends and living the dream, this record is our everlasting chase for ‘success.’

A Cure for Wellness will take you to bring you through a beautifully creepy video and leave you with a smile on your face. Imposter Syndrome is currently available for pre-order [linked below] ahead of its October 30 release.
