Rock, rap group Hollywood Undead have finally unleashed the official music video for their latest single, “Idol” featuring Tech N9ne. After releasing the new track at the end of July after several ominous videos posted across their social media – the Undead Army can cheer louder than ever before as Hollywood Undead reminds them all, “I’m not your Idol kid”. As the Undead Army joined their favorite masked anti-heroes in the YouTube chat, Hollywood Undead chimed in for a brief moment to say “watch until the end, you won’t regret it.”

Flyers, leather, and a white python flood the screen before J-Dog immediately cut into his first verse. Draped in a red hue, J-Dog spits fire while a demonic voice spits back his words. A dark figure takes over the screen, paired with a voodoo doll of the rapper – the doll is see being bound and suspended before lit on fire. As intensity heightens, Johnny 3 Tears comes in for the chorus – flashes of intense dancing and hair whipping invade the screen before we are greeted by remarkable Tech N9ne. Engulfed in flames we see a familiar mask appear – dubbing this part 1 of a much larger story yet to be told. Speaking on the track Johnny 3 Tears says, “I think the video best represents the chaos and turmoil of the song itself. Organized and introspective. But something insidious always right below the surface.”

The EDM rich, “Idol” amassed over 1 million streams during its first week – leaving a proud taste in the mouths of these non-idols. “Idol” becomes the official first single off Hollywood Undead’s upcoming New Empire Vol. 2. As fans eagerly await to hear what’s next – they are left to speculate on what’s to come.
