Rising pop sensation Jenny March has released the video for her latest single “All In.” This retro 90’s dream is fit with fashion looks and set pieces straight out of a Backstreet Boys or Britney Spears hit. Embodied with the overall theme of finding an instant connection with someone who makes you feel like you’re unstoppable, this powerful and catchy pop bop is the perfect way to round out the year.
The video for “All In” fully encompasses the iconic style that Millennials remember all too well — featuring neon colors and an in-your-face attitude. “When creating the video for the track, I pulled inspiration from videos of the late 90s and early 2000s, which I have always been obsessed with since growing up. You see fish eye lens shots, low angles, pops of colors, and of course, 90’s ‘Robot’ back up dancers,” March said on her inspiration behind the video.
“All In” perfectly captures the honeymoon phase of a relationship. That feeling of being swept off of your feet from an instant connection with someone is one of the most powerful and overwhelming emotions to experience — laced in a seductive production and paired with boldly personal lyrics, March showcases all this. “Don’t stop, baby I am all in/Got what you need boy I got what you want/With you all night stay here to the morning,” March boldly professes in the chorus of the track. She assures her lover that she is fully committed to this and that they are a perfect match. It’s the kind of relatable confidence that’s both inspiring and admirable.
While the video may be 90’s perfection, the track couldn’t be any more modern. March’s sound is like a fresh take on Gwen Stefani met with Ariana Grande’s lyricism and Tove Lo’s vibes while remaining a unique talent of her own. She fits right in with other rising pop stars like JULIANA. and Boy In Space. The production of the single dials back at perfect moments to build tension before slowly building up to come soaring into the chorus. The track is the definition of an earworm, and the chorus will blissfully have you nodding along in your head all day.
Jenny March is one of the most relatable pop acts in the business. Her lyrics feel like you’re texting your BFF about your latest date or catching up with an old friend about all the drama in your lives. Her lyrics are simple yet powerful and have a personal feeling to them that create intimacy between the listener and March. Her debut single “California Daze” broke her into the scene, amassing thousands of streams and a dedicated fanbase. “All In” is taken off of her upcoming EP that will be released in early 2021.
