Pop sensation Kim Petras has joined internationally known DJ, Kygo, for a collaboration on his latest album, Golden Hour. The track, “Broken Glass”, celebrates a relationship, despite its problems, and calls for listeners to “Cheers to us, and what we had, let’s keep dancing on the broken glass.”

The immersive video [directed by Griffin Stoddard] features a gorgeous Petras draped in white, silver, and a shirt made of keys. She glows as she sings, illuminated against a dark and stormy wasteland. She almost seems to transcend the screen as she sings with her hand pressed up against the shattered glass. As lightning strikes behind her, she stands tall on top of a rusted, flipped car.

This is Kim’s latest video, following her Cali inspired bop, “Malibu”, and a star-studded “At Home Edition” fan video, featuring some of her biggest fans, as well as celebrity friends such as Demi Lovato, Paris Hilton, Jonathan Van Ness, Charli XCX, Loren Gray, Madelaine Petsch, Jessie J, Pabllo Vittar, Aquaria, Todrick Hall, Nikita Dragun, Aly & AJ, Dorian Electra, Slayyyter, Brittany Broski, Teddy Quinlivan, Bowen Yang, and many more.

Kim also made her late-night TV debut last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with guest host Billy Eichner, where she gave a live, bubbly performance of “Malibu”. Dressed in pink and looking as glam as ever, Kim delivered her incredible vocals and danced (six feet apart, of course!) with her two guitarists. Despite the performance being virtual, fans and viewers alike can’t help but be drawn in by her talent and vibe, urged to dance along with Petras who’s presence just exudes fun as she sings through the screen.

In a recent Instagram post, Kim shared with fans how excited she was for the performance, calling it “a dream come true” – “I don’t normally do heartfelt posts because I hate feelings and shit, but tonight I make my late night debut on jimmy kimmel live. its a dream come true and i just want to take a sec to thank everyone who has gotten me to this moment…. u have my whole heart and always will. now back to your regularly scheduled hoe content. #kimonkimmel”

Other classic Kim tracks include Clarity, which dominated Spotify’s New Music Friday and Apple Music’s Best of The Week for ten consecutive weeks. In addition, her Halloween inspired project “Turn Off The Light”, bridged spooky themes with her signature style of pop. Kim has also collaborated with the likes of Charli XCX, Cheat Codes, Kygo, MAX, SOPHIE, and Lil Aaron. She’s featured on “How It’s Done” from the Ariana-Grande-produced Charlie’s Angels soundtrack. Further, Petras has also been featured on multiple billboards in New York, London, and Los Angeles as a Spotify RISE artist.
