Loyal Lobos has released the video for “Si Te Portas Mal (Be Bad)”, the third single off her debut album, Everlasting. The album, coming August 7^th via AWAL, is executive produced by Teddy Geiger.

Starting off inside the lens of a photo booth app, Loyal Lobos brings fans inside the screen as the song begins. Directed by Diego Trenas & Loyal Lobos, the scenes flip back and forth from warm, sultry shots to bright, sunny clips. Through her honest lyrics, she talks about her experience as a human being and as a woman, dealing with slut-shaming, and healing. She sings, “Las cicatrices son de vivir,”; “the scars come from living.”

Using the stage name Loyal Lobos, Bogotá, Colombia-born and California-based artist Andrea Silva’s sound mixes English and Spanish lyrics with elements of pop, indie-rock, folk, and Latin music. She describes her forthcoming album as “a place where there are no rules.” Drawing on her own history, she also finds influence in artists ranging from Cocteau Twins to Flying Lotus to Mazzy Star.
