Machine Gun Kelly Concert For Aliens music video

You know him, you have an opinion of him – but he keeps coming out with the hits regardless. Rapper turned actor turned pop punk artist, Machine Gun Kelly, is not holding back on delivering more singles from Tickets To My Downfall. Concerts for aliens  becomes MGK’s second single and music video release in just one week. Last Friday, the multitalented artist unveiled my ex’s best friend  with popular Florida rapper, blackbear. In just under a week, my ex’s best friend  lyric video has garnered over 2.6 million views on YouTube. Today, Machine Gun Kelly has teamed up with the legendary Travis Barker and famed Cali rapper, Mod Sun to deliver what will undoubtedly be another viral sensation.

During a recent appearance on Good Morning America, Kelly teases fans about concerts for aliens – but not even the most loyal of fans could have predicted this. The music video immerses you inside the minds of this wild boy and happy hippie, as we find our beloved MGK as the host, musical guest, and reluctant audience volunteer of a game show for aliens. Alongside Blink 182’s Travis Barker [who’s produced Kelly’s new record], and a sea of ladies dressed as clams, they rock out to the track to a live studio audience full of your average, big-headed aliens. Amongst setting clowns on fire, being probed by aliens and Kelly’s seamen – fans get lost in a pop punk track that draws clear influence from Blink 182, Sum 41, and New Found Glory, with just a dash of Good Charlotte.

With this latest release quickly gaining traction across the music communities, fans and critics are left to ponder the idea that perhaps MGK should just always make pop punk music. While you listen and watch concerts for aliens,  don’t forget to vote for Machine Gun Kelly’s music video for Bloody Valentine  [staring Megan Fox] in this year’s MTV’s VMAs nominations. But don’t blink, cause Machine Gun Kelly is a man of many talents, as he gears up for the release of his new Netflix movie, Project Power starring Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt out this Friday! While Tickets To My Downfall is scheduled to drop September 25, with MGK’s constantly dropping tracks, fans may not have to wait until then to experience this pop-punk collection – not that we’re complaining. #LeakYourOwnAlbum
