WATCH: Point North Debuts Latest Single And Video, “No One’s Listening”
“No One’s Listening”… but we sure are!

Alternative rock band Point North has just released “No One’s Listening” – the sixth track off of their upcoming debut album, Brand New Vision, out August 21 via Hopeless Records, along with a brand new video. The track tells a story of the darkness and despair of harsh realities and hopelessness. The punk leaning track and intensely emotional video were made to gain awareness of the struggles that immigrants face every day.
Point North originally formed in January 2017 with a different drummer and guitarist, but after their first project, they soon took a break and were reborn in 2018. Now, Point North is made up of Jon Lundin [vocals], Andy Hershey [guitar], and Sage Weeber [drums]. Their sound has elements of pop, punk, rock, and alternative styles. They aim to make music that is honest, vulnerable, and aspirational.
With Brand New Vision, Point North creates an alternate reality that strays from our repetitive, every-day routine. They dream of a world that has meaning, a world in color, a place to feel something. The album was self-produced by Jon Lundin and the band. Speaking on their hopes for the album, the band tells, “If we can inspire one person to exert some good into this world, we have done our jobs.”
In celebration of the release of their new album, Point North has announced that they will be performing a live full production and full band release show on August 20, 2020, at 7:30pm PT/10:30pm ET. Fans can grab tickets for the livestream, with an option to purchase a signed CD, on their website linked below.
The band shares, “’No One’s Listening’ is a song written about the inequality and injustice that migrant Americans face on a daily basis. We wanted this track to express the detriment, frustration and sense of entrapment it can cause. It’s super important to us that we utilize our platform to spread awareness on social injustices such as these. Resources for putting an end to the unjust raids, deportation of mothers and fathers, and separation of families can be found below.”
