Snow Tha Product has just released her latest single and music video, “No Really I’m Good” — and in a proper Snow fashion, she holds nothing back. Produced by Smallz Video Shot and edited by BARF MEDIA, the glitchy electronic neon green and pink color palettes pop above the grey hues — allowing her tell-it-like-it-is attitude to shine through. With a steady, head bopping beat, her strong yet smooth voice raps her honest lyrics, “Broken shit, fuck the past, everything / Pack your bag, grab your things / I won’t stop you, you could dip / Tried it all, you just quit / Not my fault, life’s a bitch.”
The single comes on the heels of “Confleis (No Soy Santa)” — her mind-blowing seventh single with pairing video of the year. While “No Really I’m Good” holds a the same playful production elements Snow showcases is all her work, “Confleis (No Soy Santa)” highlights Snow’s signature playfully attitude while spitting her bilingual flare.
Snow Tha Product has been working her way up in the industry for the last decade as a powerful female contemporary hip hop artist, known for rapid-fire vocals and catchy hooks. From her humble beginnings selling CDs out of her car, to going on to tour North America on a regular basis with a hefty collection of mixtapes, music videos, and concerts, the Mexican MC from California and Texas is no stranger to going after what she wants at full speed. She’s outspoken about a variety of issues, including LGBTQ+ rights and immigration, and was featured last year in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Immigrants [We Get the Job Done]” video.
After leaving her record deal with Atlantic Records, Snow returned to her roots, and focused on evolving into the kind of artist she most resonated with. Since then, she has established herself as the ultimate independent artist with a fiery DIY spirit. Currently, Snow Tha Product is gearing up to release her most proud project to date — VALEMADRE. Speaking on the project Show shares, “I’m really excited it’s released songs, it’s new songs, it’s all of it….There’s singy songs and there’s emotional songs and there’s love, and there’s fuckin’ hard aggressive songs and then there’s fuckin’ reggaeton vibes….There’s everything, it’s just a big salsa.”
“I’m not that type of artist,” Snow explains. “I don’t need writers. I don’t need the whole fluff thing. I need to just be real with my fans. I’m not the type of artist you can put together and put into a box. I just fit better on my own. I just wanna be happy, and I realized to be happy I just wanna do what I wanna do with this music. That’s when it connects the most. When I finally let everybody be wrong, that’s when I realized I needed to do my thing.”
