Newcomers, Sin City, have just dropped their cool and collected music video for their latest track, “She’s Got No Heart”. The video is cloaked under a smoky view and warm lights. Adorned with groovy clothes, jewelry, and neck scarves, and decked out with the mullets and mustaches and big hair of your dreams, the band performs the track in an unforgettable way. The soulful song is a jaded tale of heartbreak guided by soft guitar strings and the band jamming out in a bar. The gin-soaked scenes will make fans ache for a good night out in a hole in the wall bar – ah, the good old days.
The song comes from their new album, Sin City Or Bust. This record becomes their third full-length release this year – yes, you read that right. The project consists of thirteen songs, of country ballads, old fashioned soul crooners, and classic rock ‘n’ roll bops. The album has the perfect vibe to reminisce on better days and help yourself out of the 2020 blues.
The dazzling duo, Nick and Jack, have christened themselves “bar-crawling crooners,” who have been quarantined in a run-down flat in Alicante, Spain. With nothing but a guitar and piano, the duo has been pumping out song after song. In a haze of beer, gin, rum, red wine and hamburgers, Sin City wrote and recorded a project of songs inspired by their love for Mink Deville, Gram Parsons, Glen Campbell, Phil Spector, Van Morrison, and other favorite country, soul and rock n’ roll artists and records. Staying true to their name, if the pandemic can’t stop Sin City, then nothing can!
