PLAY TOO MUCH PRESENTS: THE FIELD TRIP FT. Diet Cig

PLAY TOO MUCH PRESENTS: THE FIELD TRIP FT. Diet Cig

By: Play Too Much

Just about a month ago we embarked on our most ambitious session series to date. We invited five of our favorite artists to join us in the most alluring space we could think of, New York Hall of Science. Located in our beloved borough of Queens, we packed up the bus and embarked on our first “Field Trip”. In one day we gathered a group of talented creatives, and artists to make these videos and podcasts.

Perhaps our favorite moment from the Field Trip was getting to hang out with all of the artists and eat V-Spot empanadas together. The entire day really felt like we were all kids again, running around the museum. Eating together felt like lunch time, getting to chat with friends and fuel up for the rest of the day. We had the distinct pleasure of talking about gorillas, among other things with Diet Cig. Diet Cig is a spunky duo – Alex with her fierce female vocals and Noah with his killer drumming. Reminiscent of early 90s pop-punk with a classic rock kick. Their songs are addictive and you can’t help but dance around to ’em. It’s no wonder they’re paired up with Father / Daughter Records.

So we are beyond pumped to present to you today Diet Cig performing “Harvard”. Once you’ve finished watching get to know this guy and gal by listening to our latest behind the scenes podcast with the band!

The Field Trip sessions were sponsored by the Vspot and Astoria Soundworks.
