Emerging rock guitarist Ariel Bellavalaire is embracing her demons in her new single “Monsters.” Released October 29th, 2021 “Monsters” is a great addition to Bellavalaire’s iconic original music that contains a rock twist and her signature solos. “We all have monsters we deal with every day and it’s up to you to slay them,” Ariel Bellavalaire comments on the single.
Described by fans as “Avril Lavigne with a hint of Van Hallen,” Bellavalaire maintains this image in the thunderous “Monsters.” Showcasing her journey from being afraid of her monsters to overcoming them, the first verse describes Bellavalaire’s fears. She discusses feeling like her demons are suffocating her and holding her down. However, by the time the catchy chorus comes around, Bellavalaire has broken free from the chains of her demons and is slaying them. You can find yourself simultaneously vibing to the beat while also getting pumped up and inspired to face and defeat your own demons. In the second verse, Bellavalaire is taunting her demons, showing that they no longer have a hold on her. By the end of the song, Bellavalaire’s demons have been slain and you realize that you are no longer afraid of the monsters under your bed. Instead, you are the monster under your own demon’s bed.
