Alternative rap artist, Ashnikko has finally revealed her final form in new mixtape Demidevil – and we are here for it. Just a few days ago the illusive Ashnikko posted a link to her website with a devil emoji – the site showcased a countdown to Friday and fans began to lose their minds as they speculated what awaited them once the clock struck zero. In a series of three Youtube videos, Ashnikko first presented herself as if she were truly about to give an in-depth teaser of what lies ahead, but things took a dark turn when two little humps suddenly appeared on the singer’s forehead. In an update, the painful humps had turned into undeniable horns – in a desperate plea, Ashnikko is seen screaming for help in the 1-minute video.

As the countdown hit zero, fans held their breath for the big reveal – Ashnikko’s final form and the mixtape we’ve all been waiting for. Demidevil brings excitement to fans and perhaps some issues for our beloved Ashnikko as she struggles to regain control. While there’s no word on Demidevil’s official tracklisting – fans can assume all her 2020 hits will find its house on the record. Starting with “Tantrum”, Ashnikko showcases a few of her characters in a racing game-inspired lyric/music video that has amassed over 3.1 million views since its May release. The music video for “Tantrum” becomes the first time fans truly get a glimpse of this Demidevil alongside Little Blue and of course, Ashnikko herself.

As June came around, Ashnikko dropped “Cry ft. Grimes” paired with a graphically intense animated music video. Heartbroken and scorn by a former friend who slept with her boyfriend, Ashnikko felt inspired by the iconic Evanescence to create a darker, harder track than her fans were not used to. Originally created more than a year ago, Ashnikko found herself looking through her vault of unfinished tracks and realized that this once ‘too heavy’ track was an absolute banger. Not long after the release of “Cry”, Ashnikko dropped “Daisy” and called on her fans to help create one of the most memorable music videos to date. Partnered with Beats By Dre, Ashnikko launched the #BeatsDaisyChallenge – asking her fandom to show their true colors as the rapper’s crazy infectious single became their new anthem. In the official music video for “Daisy”, Ashnikko is highlighted as a blue creature with a hair halo that contorts on clear objects high in the sky, a spiky bumblebee on a virtual daisy, a bubblegum cyborg and devilish vixen whose chariot of choice is giant hot pepper.

With Ashnikko demonstrating that she is an artist by every definition of the word – it’s easy to see why fans are quick to rally behind this ‘out of the ordinary’ rapper, songstress. Demidevil is scheduled to drop October 9 of this year – fans will just have to anxiously await its arrival as they blast their favorite Ashnikko tracks while they order a Demidevil bundle.
