Just about a month ago we embarked on our most ambitious session series to date. We invited five of our favorite artists to join us in the most alluring space we could think of, New York Hall of Science. Located in our beloved borough of Queens, we packed up the bus and embarked on our first “Field Trip”. In one day we gathered a group of talented creatives, and artists to make these videos and podcasts.
Kicking off our field trip series is PWR BTTM. A power pop-punk duo from Hudson New York. Dressed in fish-face drag, the duo traded instruments and frontman duties for these brilliant performances. Although they sang directly into their microphones, their voices echoed throughout the exhibits. PWR BTTM’s music is playfully real. With stories and narratives that are as painful as they are powerful, PWR BTTM delivered a magical performance. So without further adieu we invite you to join the Field Trip!
Once you’ve finished watching “I Want A Boy”, and“West Texas”, get to know the fellas in PWR BTTM by listening to our latest behind the scenes podcast with the band!
The Field Trip sessions were sponsored by the Vspot and Astoria Soundworks.
