Personality Trait: Adventurous Traveler

Travel equals freedom for The Archer, so don’t expect them to stick around when the universe piles on. Find them wielding a suitcase in one hand while scanning Expedia with the other whenever things get to be a little too heavy. Not down to join them on their spontaneous escape to a remote island off the coast of a country you’ve never heard of? That’s fine…your Sagittarius isn’t looking to invite you anyway. They’re just fine traveling alone and will be on a plane before you finish googlemapping Lesotho.

Bonus Sagittarius Fact: Miley references Jay-Z (Dec. 4) and Britney Spears (Dec. 2) in “Party In The USA” and both are card carrying members of the cult of Sagittarius.

Personality Trait: Honest

Honesty is a Sagittarius specialty. No other sign is quite as brutally honest and committed to the truth. While the truth can hurt, as Queen Lizzo has taught us all, the trait demands respect.

Personality Trait: Independent

Fiercely independent, you aren’t looking to serve or please anyone but yourself. Having a great community of people is important for every sign, but for the most part a Sagittarius is happy to go at it on their own, and certainly won’t be caught being a follower.

Knowing there are far profound complexities to our world, Sags can get lost in thought. Don’t be surprised if you see your Sag bestie completely engrossed in a book with their head somewhere else. Just as a Sag loves adventure, they love the wandering feeling of pondering something new.

While this might not be the first trait that comes to mind when thinking of our Sagittarius friends, it shouldn’t be overlooked. With their curiosity and sense of adventure, they can wonderfully spin words into a carefully crafted story. Their charisma and warm personality makes everyone lean in to hear the next thing come out of their mouth. Timothy Showalter (Strand of Oaks) may be a Cancer, but his storytelling ability is stunning, and analogous to the classic Sagittarius.
