“Lose You Now” is a powerful track all about loss and grief. Stirling writes to commemorate her late father, and offers a hand to those who experience similar tragedy. “Creating ‘Lose You Now’ and its music video brought me peace and I’m so glad that we have been able to share that healing with everyone, especially with what we all have been going through this past year.” says Lindsey. The original version sports an electronic mix, with contemplative synths, heartbeat-like bass and electronic beats. It was released earlier this year and produced by Jason Evigan [Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha, Jonas Brothers].
Lindsey Stirling and Mako take the core elements of “Lose You Now” and simplify the track to highlight the somber message of the single. “Mako and I are so happy to share this new version of ‘Lose You Now’ with everyone. We’ve always known this song was special but seeing the way it’s been connecting with fans and listeners all across the world has been beyond expectations,” says Stirling. A full string accompaniment sits behind the duo, adding a subtle layer of harmonies to create a full orchestration. Lindsey snags the spotlight with her addicting violin hooks.
