Production duo Louis The Child have unveiled their emotion-boosting, official video for their latest single “Little Things,” a collaboration with singer/songwriter Quinn XCII and artist-on-the-rise Chelsea Cutler. The song entered the Spotify US Viral charts at number 31. Stefano Bertelli [a filmmaker who’s also worked with artists like lovelytheband, Coyu & Moby, and Robbie Williamsdirected the video all the way from Italy in total lockdown. The animated visual packs a passionately powerful and very creative take on videos inspired by the mass quarantine.

The video for “Little Things” is of ingenious work of paper-cutout, stop-motion animation adventuring through a city during quarantine, providing visuals of how lonely self-isolation is. But as the kind and sparkling song continues on, flares of sunshine and enchanting radiating rainbows spark an indisputable sense of hope. The video also features animated pictures of Louis The Child’s Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett. The video eventually makes a soulful declaration on the transportive impact of music and the possibility for connection in quarantine.

Released earlier in April, “Little Things” was instantly praised by Dancing Astronaut as a “vibrant dance-pop smash.” In creating the nostalgia-doused duet, Louis The Child worked from a song initially penned by Jon Bellion, preserving some of the New York-bred singer/rapper/songwriter’s original vocal layers in the chorus, drop, and beatbox. Soon after incorporating vocals from their longtime friends Chelsea Cutler [who appeared on Louis the Child’s 2017 EP Love is Alive] and Quinn XCII [who collaborated with the duo on their 2018 single “The City”], Louis The Child found new meaning in the song’s message of appreciation for life’s simplest moments.

Although this song was started years ago, it feels like it couldn’t be coming out at a better time,” said Hauldren and Kennett. “As our daily lifestyles adapt to the current state of the world, it seems to be the little things that mean the most right now. Things that we may take for granted in our normal lives seem so important and impactful now.”
