YOUNG CULTURE HAILEY BEVERLY 2016Young Culture has excitedly shared their latest single, “Hailey Beverly 2016,” a nostalgic tale of reminiscing on a person who was once a lover and now a stranger. Some songs feel like slower ballads, while others have a more uptempo, pop feel.  This romantic sentimentality fits in line with the theme of their self-titled debut album, Young Culture.  With only two days till the album drops on October 16th, vocalist Alexander Magnan shares, “The album is Young Culture, and this is a story about young love.”

Young Culture is a collection of songs that encourages and embraces growing up and outgrowing what holds us down, but also serves as a reminder that getting older doesn’t mean losing your sense of youth. Young Culture finds the band working through their struggles as they find their way through their 20s. Touching on themes of young love, the ups and downs of friendship, journeys with mental health, and more, the band has created a complex and emotional compilation that will touch and resonate with everyone who listens [along with making them want to get up, dance, and sing along!]. This dynamic release takes listeners on a journey of genre, with notable influences from hip-hop, country, hardcore, and alternative rock genres. Somehow, Young Culture finds a way to blend the diverse backgrounds and styles seamlessly. Co-produced by Sam Guaiana and Anton DeLost,  the album is a product of love, labor, and long nights fueled by cheap wine.

Young Culture are three friends getting to work together doing what they love – connecting to listeners through their experiences, and sharing an overall love for their community and craft. The band hopes that their passion will translate, and that fans will take away the lessons they sing about today’s world and all of their experiences.  With such an adventurous and diverse soundscape, the band isn’t shy about experimenting with different musical genres and techniques, and they believe that this album is the best representation of them as a group.

“This album represents closing the chapter of youth and opening up to new discoveries,” Alex stated. “It is a recap of the past years for us as a group and individuals, and we want people to know that with this release, Young Culture is here and ready to go.”
